Leopold^® Clari-Vac^®

Collection headers "vacuum" the solids that have naturally settled and compacted on the tank floor.

Sludge is then siphoned into a separate trough where it is pumped to waste or returned in the activated sludge application.

The Leopold^® Clari-Vac^® Floating Sludge Collector removes sludge that has settled by gravity to the bottom of sedimentation clarifiers. It is used in potable water treatment plant rectangular conventional sedimentation basins or in wastewater treatment plant rectangular secondary clarifiers.
