Leopold® FilterWorx® Automatic Filter Control System
The Leopold® FilterWorx® Automatic Control System is a complete filter control package consisting of all instrumentation and control equipment for the automatic monitoring and control of municipal water filtration systems. FilterWorx ACS delivers the efficiencies and economies so necessary for today's municipal water filtration systems, and the 75 years of Leopold filter process and control knowledge. When Xylem designs and engineers a Leopold® FilterWorx® ACS as part of a total Leopold filter package, we can assure guaranteed filter performance and process results.
Leopold® FilterView™ SCADA Software
The Leopold® FilterView™ SCADA software integrates multiple controllers and is designed to keep a constant watch on the essential parameters of the processes in your filter plant. The easy-to-use software provides monitoring and control as part of the Leopold® FilterWorx® system, and can automatically adjust flow rates, initiate and control the backwash sequence, and maximize filter run times.
Leopold® SFC 2000® Supervisory Filter Control System
The Leopold® SFC 2000® Supervisory Filter Control System is designed to continuously monitor and automatically control filter operation and backwash sequencing in water and wastewater treatment plants. The SFC 2000 brings PC-based control, operator interface, and data acquisition to the filter gallery. It is a totally integrated control system that can operate independently as a stand-alone filter controller, function as a supervisory SCADA system, or be easily integrated into a new or existing plant-wide process control and information network.
Leopold® AFC 5000® Filter Control System
The Leopold® AFC 5000® Filter Control System is designed to automatically control and monitor water and wastewater filter operation and backwash sequence. It is a totally integrated system that consists of the control console, programmable controller hardware, and software. The AFC 5000 can operate in either automatic or semi-automatic modes with provision for complete manual backup. It can operate completely independent from SCADA systems, or as an integral unit of a local area network.
Leopold® Simplex LPL Venturi Flow Element
The Leopold® Simplex LPL venturi flow element is ideally suited for accurate flow measurement of almost all liquids and gasses including liquids with suspended solids, gasses with entrained liquids, chemical solutions, slurries, steam, and air.
Leopold® Simplex SFH Venturi Flow Element
Designed for liquid, gas, or steam service, the Leopold® Simplex SFH venturi produces constant acceleration from main to throat. The rectangular hyperbola forming the inlet curve does not become tangent to the throat diameter. Flow reaches maximum velocity at the throat without further acceleration, providing a constant coefficient curve.
Leopold® Valve PAC® Electronic Valve Positioner/Controller
The Leopold® Valve PAC® Electronic Valve Positioner/Controller is a single-loop controller specifically designed to provide automatic rate-of-flow control of various flows in a water treatment plant, but can be used on a wide range of process control applications. It can be panel-mounted on a new or existing console, or mounted locally at the valve.
Valve PAC is especially suited for controlling the effluent flow valve in manual, automatic, and remote modes. Its simple design allows for easy transitioning between modes of filtration operation, such as declining rate, constant rate, and constant level.
