Leopold®
Clari-Vac® Floating Sludge Collector
The Leopold® Clari-Vac® Floating Sludge Collector removes sludge
that has settled by gravity to the bottom of sedimentation clarifiers.
It is best for water of high turbidity (>100 NTU) or medium turbidity
(20 to 100 NTU).
- Collection headers “vacuum”
the solids that have naturally settled and compacted
on the tank floor.
- Sludge is then siphoned into a separate trough where it is pumped to waste or returned in the activated sludge application.
